Baseball Recap: Seminole Comes Up Short

After flying high against Holdenville on Friday, Seminole came back down to earth. The Chieftains lost 14-4 to the Perkins-Tryon Demons on Monday.

Seminole saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Childs, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Seminole has also been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 17 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season. As for Perkins-Tryon, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-10 record.

While Seminole had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
