Carter hadn't done well against Pinkston recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Cowboys came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 15-12. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-2 on Tuesday.

Terence Taylor made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Taylor was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Carter and bumps their season record up to 7-12-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Pinkston, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12-1.
