Columbia Falls faced Bigfork in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wildcats strolled past the Vikings & Valkyries with points to spare, taking the game 27-13. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Columbia Falls' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Banyan Johnston, who threw for 288 yards and three TDs. What's more, Johnston racked up 115.8 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. A healthy portion of Johnston's aerial production (116 yards to be exact) went to Jory Hill, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Columbia Falls' defense stepped up as well, laying out Cole Schmit three times. Leading the way was Daniel Contreras with two sacks.
