Baseball Game Preview: Ball Tornadoes vs. Texas City Stingarees

The Ball Tornadoes will square off against the Texas City Stingarees at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ball is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Ball fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Friendswood on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 5-4.

Meanwhile, Texas City suffered their biggest loss since February 17th last Tuesday. They came up short against La Porte, falling 10-1.

Texas City dropped their record down to 5-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Ball, their loss dropped their record down to 6-17.

Ball came out on top in a nail-biter against Texas City when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 6-4. Will the Tornadoes repeat their success, or do the Stingarees have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
