Recap: Page County Panthers vs. Clarke County Eagles
The Page County Panthers lost against the Clarke County Eagles back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Page County took a 62-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clarke County. Page County has not had much luck with Clarke County recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Clarke County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Will Booker led the charge by scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and four blocks. That's the first time this season that Booker posted two or more blocks. Michael Kerr-hobert was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Page County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Clarke County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
Page County will head out on the road to face off against Rappahannock County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clarke County, they will be playing at home against Luray at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
