It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but American Heritage had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They never let the Belen Jesuit Wolverines get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on 12 straight.
Talan Holiday tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February.
On the hitting side, Dylan Dubovik was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Jordan Rich was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
American Heritage pushed their record up to 27-6 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home.
