Volleyball Recap: Kimball Longhorns vs. Perkins County Plainsmen

Kimball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Perkins County Plainsmen. The Longhorns were not able to make up for their defeat to the Plainsmen from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Kimball was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22.

Emmaline Tabor paced Kimball's offense, picking up four kills. Tabor got some help from Grace Moore and her eight assists.

Kimball's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Perkins County, their win bumped their record up to 13-14.

Kimball didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Mitchell on the 18th. As for Perkins County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hershey on the 18th.
