Volleyball Game Preview: Kenosha Tremper Trojans vs. Union Grove Broncos

After both having extra time off, the Kenosha Tremper Trojans and the Union Grove Broncos will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kenosha Tremper has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 23.

Two weeks ago, Kenosha Tremper didn't have quite enough to beat Racine Park and fell 3-2. While the Trojans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 25-18 in the first set.

Kenosha Tremper wouldn't go down easily and took Racine Park into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-18, 17-25, 25-21, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Union Grove made easy work of Wilmot on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Union Grove never let Wilmot on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-5, 25-22.

Union Grove's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 16-20. As for Kenosha Tremper, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-33.

Kenosha Tremper couldn't quite get it done against Union Grove in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
