Baseball Recap: Charlevoix Takes a Loss

Charlevoix was the 12-1 winner over Gladstone when they last played one another back in June of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rayders took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Braves on Saturday.

Charlevoix's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Gladstone, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3.

Coming up, Charlevoix will head out to challenge Harbor Springs at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Rayders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Gladstone, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-3 victory against Manistique on the 23rd.
