Baseball Recap: Hamilton Heights Huskies vs. Frankfort Hot Dogs
Hamilton Heights had lost four straight at home, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 8-17 to make it five. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frankfort Hot Dogs. The Huskies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hot Dogs from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.
Hamilton Heights saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Hulen, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
As for Frankfort, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-12. Surprisingly, this marked their fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
On Frankfort's side, the team relied heavily on Lalo Castillo, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. That's the most RBI Castillo has posted since back in April.
