Lake Center Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They blew past the Conotton Valley Rockets 9-2. The result was nothing new for the Tiger, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Lake Center Christian's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Conotton Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Center Christian will take on Marlington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tiger are facing the Dukes at the right time seeing as the Dukes are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Conotton Valley, they will challenge Newcomerstown at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rockets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
