Softball Recap: Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton's offense. They lost 10-0 to the United South Central Rebels on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Rebels recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-1. As for United South Central, their win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

Looking ahead, Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton will take on Bethlehem Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for United South Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kenyon-Wanamingo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rebels are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
