Softball Recap: Richford Wins Going Away Against Twinfield

Richford won the last time they faced Twinfield and things went their way on Saturday too. The Falcons blew past the Trojans 24-12. Considering the Falcons have won five contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Erin Raymond was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. MiKayla Chagnon was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Richford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .560. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Richford's victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Richford will welcome Blue Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Twinfield will be paying especially close attention to the Falcons' matchup: after the Falcons face off against Bellows Free Academy, they'll take on Twinfield again at 4:30 p.m. on the 16th.
