Moreno Valley is 9-1 against Vista del Lago since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Vikings will be home for the holidays to greet the Ravens at 7:00 p.m.

Moreno Valley is headed into Monday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hillcrest on Friday.

While Vista del Lago didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took down Desert Hot Springs 60-41 on Friday.

Moreno Valley better keep an eye on Ja'Marion Jackson. He was instrumental in Vista del Lago's win, going 8-for-12 en route to 22 points and seven boards. What's more, Jackson also posted a 67% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January. Jaylen Watkins was another key player, putting up six points and 14 rebounds.

Vista del Lago smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. They are a perfect 7-0 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Vista del Lago's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Moreno Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Moreno Valley took their win against Vista del Lago in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 63-43 score. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Ravens have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
