Volleyball Recap: May River Takes a Loss

May River's tournament run continued when they took on Cartersville on Saturday. The Sharks fell 2-0 to the Hurricanes.

May River's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Cartersville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-6 record this season.

May River will head out to take on Colleton County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cartersville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against South Effingham on the 27th.
