Volleyball Game Preview: Garretson Blue Dragons vs. Sioux Valley Cossacks

The Garretson Blue Dragons will venture away from home to challenge the Sioux Valley Cossacks at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Garretson is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

Garretson had taken Colman-Egan down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Blue Dragons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the C-E Hawks.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 20-25, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Sioux Valley came up short against Chester on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-21, 25-9.

Garretson's loss dropped their record down to 3-22. As for Sioux Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-12.

Garretson skirted past Sioux Valley 3-2 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Dragons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
