Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Anna Hayek and Leilani Malepeai Lead Centennial Baptist to Victory + How To Watch

Centennial Baptist won the last time they faced Rimrock and things went their way on Monday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Raiders.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 15-25, 25-20.

Centennial Baptist was led to victory by Leilani Malepeai and Anna Hayek. Malepeai had 12 kills, five aces, and four digs, while Hayek had 13 kills and two aces. That's the most digs Malepeai has posted over her last six matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Oostra, who had six kills and three digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Centennial Baptist was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in seven consecutive contests.

Centennial Baptist's record is now 6-7. As for Rimrock, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11.
