Volleyball Recap: Sunrise Mountain Find Success

Sunrise Mountain won the last time they faced Cactus and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Cobras by a score of 2-0.

Logan Nguyen paced Sunrise Mountain's offense, picking up nine kills. Nguyen got some help from Ethan Greenwood and his 22 assists.

Sunrise Mountain now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Cactus, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Sunrise Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Greenway on the 4th. As for Cactus, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Estrella Foothills on the 8th.
