Basketball Recap: Albany Takes a Loss

Albany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 59-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shullsburg Miners. The Comets were probably out for revenge after losing 60-44 to them when the teams met back in January of 2015, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Shullsburg, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-5.

Albany will square off against Juda at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shullsburg, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Belmont at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th.
