Baseball Recap: Milton Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Monday. Milton took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Weymouth. The defeat continues a trend for Milton in their meetings with Weymouth: they've now lost three in a row.

Milton now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Weymouth, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Milton is set to take on their familiar foe Needham at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Weymouth will square off against rival Newton North at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
