Copper Hills has gone 7-0 against Syracuse recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Copper Hills Grizzlies will take on the Syracuse Titans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Copper Hills sitting on four straight wins and Syracuse on five.
Last Friday, Copper Hills greeted the New Year with with a 71-55 victory over Farmington.

Copper Hills relied on the efforts of Boston Lambourne, who went 9 for 16 on his way to 24 points and four steals, and Isaiah Reiser, who went 9 of 15 on his way to 22 points. Reiser's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daxton Nelson, who posted nine points.
Meanwhile, Syracuse beat Ridgeline 77-68 on Friday.
Copper Hills better keep an eye on Skyler Orton. He was instrumental in Syracuse's win, going 11 of 20 on his way to 25 points and three steals. Orton is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradlee Trejo, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 16 points and six assists.
Syracuse was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ridgeline only racked up 14 assists.
Copper Hills' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Syracuse, their record is now 7-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Copper Hills has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 23.2 boards per game. However, it's not like Syracuse struggles in that department as they've been averaging 25 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Copper Hills came out on top in a nail-biter against Syracuse when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 65-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Copper Hills since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
