While Salem Hills's victory against Payson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Skyhawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Lions on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Skyhawks in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

The team relied heavily on Emmery Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Camryn Guest was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Wilson wasn't the only one making solid contact: Salem Hills kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive contests.

Salem Hills' record now sits at 14-1. As for Payson, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-3.
