Classical can bid farewell to their nine-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They came out on top against the Udall Eagles by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Saints, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Katelyn Brannon paced Classical's offense, picking up 12 kills. Brannon got some help from Anna Schmidt and her 22 assists. Schmidt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Classical's victory bumped their record up to 7-29-1. As for Udall, their loss dropped their record down to 8-22.

Classical does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Udall, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Central on the 16th.
