Basketball Recap: Sarasota Christian Falls Despite Big Games from Josh Frazzini and Ben Milliken

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sarasota Christian can now relate to. They took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seacrest Country Day Stingrays on Wednesday. The Blazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Sarasota Christian had strong showings from Ben Milliken, who posted 15 points, and Josh Frazzini, who had 12 points. Travis Miller was another key player, putting up six points.

Seacrest Country Day got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Fedor Vuksanovic out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine boards. The contest was Vuksanovic's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Bates, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 12 points and seven rebounds.

Sarasota Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Seacrest Country Day, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Sarasota Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seacrest Country Day, they will take on Donahue Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Donahue Catholic will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Seacrest Country Day surely won't give up without a fight.
