Basketball Recap: Bolles Extends Winning Streak to Four

Bolles came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 61-49 victory over the Westside Wolverines. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolverines, too.

Bolles' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was CJ Ennis, who posted 15 points. That's the most points Ennis has posted since back in February of 2024. Finley Bredehoeft was another key player, going 5 of 11 en route to 16 points.

Despite the loss, Westside still got an impressive performance from Jaylen Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Janard Biggiers, who put up 11 points.

Bolles now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Westside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season.

Bolles has already played their next contest, a 54-41 victory against Hilliard on the 30th. As for Westside, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-67 loss against Flagler Palm Coast on the 24th.
