Baseball Game Preview: Arroyo Grande Eagles vs. Righetti Warriors

For the second straight game, Arroyo Grande will face off against Righetti. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Arroyo Grande is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Arroyo Grande fell victim to Righetti and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0.

For Righetti's part, Jacob McMillan made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave McMillan a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

Righetti's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Arroyo Grande, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
