Softball Game Preview: Houston Hurricanes vs. Schaeffer Academy Lions

The Houston Hurricanes will venture away from home to square off against the Schaeffer Academy Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Houston's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Schaeffer Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Houston is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Lyle/Pacelli a 28-0 shutout on Friday. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Meanwhile, Schaeffer Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Goodhue, falling 18-0.

Houston's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Schaeffer Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
