North Sevier had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 67-57 victory over the Grand County Red Devils on Wednesday. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered a 71-43 defeat the last time these two teams met.

North Sevier's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kade Johnson led the charge by putting up 22 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Cynch Wanlass was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 13 boards.

Despite the loss, Grand County still got an impressive performance from Tristan Bane, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was River Shaw, who earned 15 points and six rebounds.

North Sevier didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-59 win against South Sevier on the 21st. As for Grand County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 65-54 loss against Duchesne on the 21st.
