Basketball Recap: Mogollon Takes a Loss

Mogollon lost against Joseph City back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mogollon Mustangs were beaten by the Joseph City Wildcats 39-11. The match marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Joseph City got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Audrey Neill out in front who went 6 of 13 to rack up 16 points. Another player making a difference was April Neill, who posted five points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Mogollon's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Joseph City, their victory was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-4.

Mogollon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Joseph City, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats face off against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Joseph City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.3 points per game this season.
