Luverne hadn't done well against Redwood Valley recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Luverne sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Redwood Valley. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-1 win on October 4th.

The victory made it two in a row for Luverne and bumps their season record up to 11-13. As for Redwood Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.
