Soccer Game Preview: Jackson vs. Arlington

The Jackson Timberwolves will venture away from home to face off against the Arlington Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Jackson has four straight wins, Arlington has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Jackson's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Mountlake Terrace by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Arlington lost 7-1 to Kamiak on Friday. While losing is never fun, Arlington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while Kamiak are ranked 92nd).

Jackson's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4-1. As for Arlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-2.

Jackson came out on top in a nail-biter against Arlington in their previous matchup back in April, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Timberwolves since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
