Basketball Recap: Clay County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Clay County was the 68-43 winner over Van Buren County when they last played one another back in February of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 47-46 to the Eagles. Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Eagles since Tuesday.

Clay County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Van Buren County, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clay County will square off against Macon County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Van Buren County, they will challenge Sequatchie County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
