Baseball Recap: Neville Comes Up Short

Neville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Monroe Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-3 last Wednesday.

Neville's loss dropped their record down to 13-19. As for West Monroe, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-6-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Rebels beat Neville by a score of 5-4 on Sunday.
