Baseball Game Preview: Curtis Vikings vs. Sumner Spartans

For the second straight game, Curtis will face off against Sumner. Curtis will square off against Sumner at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Curtis will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Curtis' pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Sumner 1-0.

Not much got past Cooper Hordyk, who gave up just four hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Sumner off the board.

Curtis' victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Sumner, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-2.
