Baseball Recap: Barron Comes Up Short

Barron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 8-4 to the Hayward Hurricanes. The Golden Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hurricanes earlier this season, when they won 7-1.

Barron's loss dropped their record down to 16-9-1. As for Hayward, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-8-1.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Barron will face off against Turtle Lake/Clayton on Tuesday. As for Hayward, they will take on Northland Pines on Tuesday.
