Softball Recap: Atholton Comes Up Short

Atholton lost against Centennial back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Raiders came up short against the Eagles, falling 18-12. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Adara Baldini stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Elli Cathirell, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Atholton's loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Centennial, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

As of now, neither Atholton nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
