Soccer Game Preview: Northwestern vs. Central

The Northwestern Bulls are taking a road trip to square off against the Central Rockets at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Northwestern fell victim to Mourning and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 7-0 to the Sharks. The Bulls have struggled against the Sharks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Central also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against South Dade on Thursday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 483rd, while the Buccaneers are ranked 67th).

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for Northwestern, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-6-2.
