Baseball Recap: Wyoming Area Beats Lake-Lehman for Their Third Straight Victory

Wyoming Area had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They never let the Lake-Lehman Knights get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since March 29th.

The team relied heavily on Ben Rogish, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Wyoming Area: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Cody Meade, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Wyoming Area now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lake-Lehman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
