The biggest upset of the week belonged to Tallulah Academy, who took down 256th ranked Glenbrook, 55-48.
Cenla Christian Academy extended the longest winning streak in MAIS A District 3 this week by beating Riverdale Academy, 35-8. The victory was the fourth in a row for Cenla Christian Academy.
Cenla Christian Academy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Peyton Gauthier threw for 75 and one touchdown and Kyland Joiner had 38 yards receiving. On the ground La'Montrell Goudeau chipped in 104 yards. Goudeau helped Cenla Christian Academy's passing attack out by catching one ball for 28 yards.
Caleb Vallee has thrown for 513 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Joiner has 16 catches for 304 yards. Goudeau leads the league in rushing with 648 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Claiborne Academy takes on Cenla Christian Academy. At the moment, the Rebels are in fourth, while Cenla Christian Academy is in fifth.
Riverfield Academy took down Claiborne Academy 46-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
