Volleyball Game Preview: Pacifica Tritons vs. San Marcos Royals

Pacifica is 0-4 against San Marcos since March of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m.

Pacifica is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game last Thursday. They came up short against Santa Barbara, falling 3-0.

Pacifica took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 28-12, 25-13, 25-17.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for San Marcos, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Ventura last Thursday. The Royals haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

One reason for the win was San Marcos' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 25-12.

Pacifica's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for San Marcos, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.
