League recap: Concord extends winning streak with victory over Mishawaka

Adding to the longest winning streak in Northern Lakes this week, Concord beat Mishawaka 34-14. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Minutemen.

Concord took down the Cavemen 34-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.

5-foot-11 quarterback Derek Demeyer of Goshen is the league leader in passing yards this season with 838. He has also thrown 5 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Tanner Balaz. The Warsaw star has 24 catches for 364 yards.

Tim Dawson's team made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,401 from 1,853. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 34-14 victory over Mishawaka last week.
