Cypress Lake had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Luigi Smith sure wasn't going down easily. Smith pitched two innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. The effort marked the fewest earned runs he has had since back in April of 2024. What's more, he also racked up two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.
