Lincoln-Way West's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Marist, the victory was the 18th in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Lincoln-Way West has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Metamora on the 30th. As for Marist, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Normal University on the 30th.
