Gulf won the last time they faced Hudson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Buccaneers blew past the Cobras 72-34. That 38 point margin sets a new team best for the Buccaneers this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gulf to victory, but perhaps none more so than Odell Brown, who went 6-for-9 en route to 14 points and five rebounds. Brown has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 60% every time he's hit the court this season. Kavion Brown was another key player, shooting 63% from the field to rack up 12 points and three steals.

Gulf smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Gulf's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points over those games. As for Hudson, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gulf will host Angeline Academy of Innovation at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hudson, they will be playing at home against Nature Coast Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
