Basketball Recap: Sparta Comes Up Short

Sparta lost against Grant back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sparta Spartans fell 37-27 to the Grant Tigers.

Sparta's defeat dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Grant, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-12.

Sparta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grant, they will be taking part in a tournament against Spring Lake at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Spring Lake will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Grant surely won't give up without a fight.
