Basketball Recap: Jared White Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Varsity Opponent

South Haven Christian won the last time they faced Varsity Opponent and things went their way on Tuesday too. South Haven Christian walked away with a 69-61 victory over Varsity Opponent. South Haven Christian pushed the score to 51-31 by the end of the third, a deficit Varsity Opponent cut but never quite recovered from.

South Haven Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jared White, who shot 40% from the field en route to 16 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. That's the most steals White has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Aiden Hampton, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 12 points and eight boards.

South Haven Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

South Haven Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
