League recap: Hill School exits state Top 25 after defeat

Hill School suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 9-3 loss to Springside Chestnut Hill Academy. The Rams had been ranked 20th, but fell to 28 following the defeat.

Hun came in at 4 in the state poll after placing at number 78 last week.

Lawrenceville School's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Big Red feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Randall West has thrown for 358 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Lewis Hayes has six catches for 82 yards. Grayson Helm leads the league in rushing with 22 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Raiders take on Blair Academy. Hun is currently in third, while the Bucs are in first.

Dave Dudeck's team moved up to 4 from 78 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league.
