Volleyball Recap: Forest Beats North Marion for Their Second Straight Win

If North Marion wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Forest, they should've done a better job of containing Brody Wilemon. The Forest Wildcats put the hurt on the North Marion Colts with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday which was due in part to Wilemon, who had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Forest never let North Marion on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-22.

The win made it two in a row for Forest and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. As for North Marion, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest will face off against Lake Weir at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Marion, they will head out to face off against Dunnellon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be Dunnellon's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
