Basketball Recap: Wilson Hall Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wilson Hall can now relate to. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 52-35 to the Augusta Christian Lions. The Barons' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Makenna Ellis went supernova for Augusta Christian, on her way to 28 points. Augusta Christian is 4-1 when Ellis posts 15 or more points, but 12-13 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Tierra Vandiver, who posted three points along with eight steals and five boards.

Wilson Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Augusta Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-14 record this season.

Wilson Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Augusta Christian, they have already played their next matchup, a 75-47 loss against First Baptist School on the 17th.
