Cathedral won the last time they faced Clint and things went their way on Tuesday too. Cathedral came out on top against Clint by a score of 8-4.

Derek Armendariz tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Alex Medrano was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Gabriel Ramirez was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Cathedral's win bumped their record up to 15-7-1. As for Clint, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10-1 record this season.

Cathedral will look to defend their home field on Monday against Santa Teresa at 6:00 p.m. Santa Teresa will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Cathedral surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clint, they will head out on the road to face off against San Elizario at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
